1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Zopanta Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on zopanta.com. It should be read together with the Zopanta Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags and software that reads or writes device or browser identifiers. Some are necessary for a website to function or remain secure, while others are used for analytics or marketing and require consent.
3. Our consent approach
On a first visit, Zopanta provides a cookie banner with three clear choices: Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences. Google Analytics 4 does not load until the visitor gives analytics consent. Meta Pixel does not load until the visitor gives marketing consent. Visitors can change or withdraw optional consent at any time through the persistent Cookie Settings control.
Zopanta remembers the cookie consent choice for 12 months unless the visitor changes it earlier, the website technology changes materially, or consent must be refreshed sooner.

5. Google Analytics 4
With analytics consent, Zopanta uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use zopanta.com, for example pages viewed, approximate acquisition source, device and browser information, and website events configured by Zopanta. GA4 does not load before analytics consent is given.
Zopanta configures GA4 user level and event level data retention to 14 months. At initial launch, Zopanta does not use Google Signals, Google advertising personalization, or user level advertising profiling through GA4.
6. Meta Pixel
With marketing consent, Zopanta uses Meta Pixel to measure whether Zopanta advertising leads to website visits or conversions, and for remarketing to website visitors through Meta services. The pixel may transmit browser and device information and actions taken on the website to Meta. Zopanta does not upload Launch List email addresses to Meta or other advertising platforms at initial website launch.
Meta Pixel remains blocked until marketing consent is given. Joining the Launch List does not itself provide consent for advertising audience use of an email address. If Zopanta later wishes to use Launch List email addresses for advertising audiences, a separate explicit consent mechanism will be introduced first.
7. Google reCAPTCHA
Zopanta uses Google reCAPTCHA on the Launch List form to help protect the website against spam, bots and abuse. Zopanta treats reCAPTCHA as a necessary security service where it is deployed. reCAPTCHA may process technical information and may use cookies or similar storage when executed for risk analysis.
Where required by Google, the Launch List form will display the applicable notice that the site is protected by reCAPTCHA and that Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

The exact cookie names and browser storage used can vary according to provider configuration and technical updates. Zopanta will review the production website and update this policy if the implemented technologies materially differ from this description.

9. How to change your choices
Visitors can use the persistent Cookie Settings control on the website to change or withdraw analytics or marketing consent at any time. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the core website.
10. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Zopanta relies on an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary safeguards where appropriate.
