Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated 4 October 2026 Controller Zopanta Ltd Contact support@zopanta.com
This Privacy Policy explains how Zopanta Ltd processes personal data through zopanta.com, the Zopanta Launch List, direct email communications, and interactions with our official social media pages. This version applies to the initial website launch only. The Zopanta mobile app and connected device are not covered by this version because they are not yet publicly launched.
1. Who we are
Zopanta Ltd, 21, Kalamon Street, Livadia, 7060, Larnaca, Cyprus, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. In this policy, “Zopanta”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Zopanta Ltd.
Privacy and data rights contact: support@zopanta.com
Zopanta has not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer for the initial website launch. Privacy questions and requests are handled through the contact above. We will reassess our privacy governance as our services and data processing activities expand.
2. Our privacy approach
We aim to collect only the personal data reasonably necessary to operate, secure, measure and support the website and the communications described in this policy.
Zopanta does not sell personal data. At the initial website launch, we do not upload Launch List email addresses to Meta, Google or other advertising platforms to create custom or similar advertising audiences. If we introduce that practice in the future, we will first obtain separate explicit consent where required and update this policy.
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Website technical data
When someone visits zopanta.com, our website and hosting infrastructure may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, date and time of requests, pages requested, referring page or URL, and server or security logs.
We do not request precise GPS location through the initial website. Approximate location, for example country or city level, may be inferred from an IP address or technical infrastructure for website operation, security, analytics and advertising measurement where the relevant consent has been given.
3.2 Launch List
If someone joins the Zopanta Launch List, we collect the email address they provide and a record of their consent. The Launch List is intended for people aged 18 and over.
The Launch List uses single opt in. A person is added after entering their email address, ticking the separate unticked consent checkbox and submitting the form. We may keep evidence of consent, such as the consent wording or version, date and time.
We use the Launch List to send a welcome or confirmation email, a launch notification, and occasional important product availability updates. We do not use it as a regular newsletter. Each marketing email will provide an easy way to unsubscribe.
Email open tracking and link click tracking are disabled for Launch List emails.
3.3 Direct email communications
When someone contacts support@zopanta.com, we may process their email address, name if provided, message content and any attachments they voluntarily send. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for us to respond.
If someone contacts Zopanta about investment, partnerships, research, pilots or other business matters, we may process the information they choose to provide, such as their name, email address, organisation, job title, phone number, message content and attachments.
3.4 Social media interactions
If you interact with an official Zopanta page or account on a social media platform, for example by following, commenting or sending a message, we may receive and process the information made available to us through that platform. The social media platform also processes personal data under its own privacy terms and policies.
3.5 Website analytics, marketing and security technologies
With the visitor’s consent, zopanta.com uses Google Analytics 4 for standard website analytics. At the initial website launch, Google Signals, Google advertising personalization and Google user level advertising profiling are not used through our GA4 configuration.
With the visitor’s marketing consent, zopanta.com also uses Meta Pixel for basic advertising measurement, campaign optimisation and remarketing. Meta Pixel does not load before marketing consent is given.
Google reCAPTCHA is used on the Launch List form to help prevent spam, automated submissions and abuse. We treat reCAPTCHA as a necessary security service for that form, rather than as an analytics or marketing technology.
The website cookie banner provides Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences options. More detail is provided in our separate Cookie Policy.
4. Why we use personal data and our legal bases

5. Automated decision making
Zopanta does not use personal data collected through the initial website to make automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals.
6. Who we share personal data with
We share personal data only where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, measure or administer the website and our communications. Depending on the service involved, recipients may include:
- website hosting and infrastructure providers;
- email and communications service providers;
- Google Analytics 4, where analytics consent is given;
- Meta, where marketing consent is given for Meta Pixel;
- Google reCAPTCHA for Launch List form security;
- professional advisers and service providers where reasonably necessary;
- public authorities or regulators where disclosure is required by law.
The exact hosting and email providers may change as the website develops. Where a provider acts as our processor, we will use appropriate contractual and data protection arrangements where required.
7. International data transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs and a transfer safeguard is required, Zopanta will rely on an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary safeguards where appropriate.
8. How long we keep personal data
| Data category | Normal retention |
|---|---|
| Launch List email and consent record | Until the person unsubscribes or withdraws consent. |
| Unsubscribe suppression record | A minimal record may be retained only to respect the opt out, avoid accidental future marketing and demonstrate compliance. It is not used for marketing. |
| Support correspondence and attachments | 24 months after the matter is resolved, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security or dispute purposes. |
| Investor, partnership, research and other business correspondence | For the duration of the enquiry or relationship, then 24 months after it concludes, unless longer retention is required. |
| Website server and security logs | Up to 90 days, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary to investigate security, fraud, abuse or legal claims. |
| Google Analytics 4 user and event level analytics | 14 months where configurable. |
| Cookie consent choice | 12 months, unless the person changes preferences, the technology setup changes materially, or consent must be refreshed sooner. |
| Legal, tax, accounting or dispute records | For the period required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. |
9. Marketing communications and consent
Joining the Launch List is optional. The signup form uses a separate unticked consent checkbox. Consent is not bundled with any other action.
A person can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting support@zopanta.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
At the initial website launch, Launch List email addresses are not uploaded to Meta, Google or other advertising platforms to create advertising audiences. If Zopanta later introduces this use, it will be subject to a separate explicit consent process where required.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Zopanta uses a separate Cookie Policy for detailed information about cookies and similar technologies. At the initial website launch, the intended setup includes necessary website storage, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel and Google reCAPTCHA on the Launch List form.
Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are blocked until the relevant consent is given. Visitors can Accept all, Reject all or Manage preferences, and can change or withdraw their choices later. Cookie choices are normally retained for 12 months.
11. External links
The website may contain ordinary links to third party websites or social media services. Zopanta does not control the privacy practices of those external services. This policy does not apply after a visitor leaves our website and uses a third party service.
12. Children
The initial Zopanta website and Launch List are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the Launch List. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by a person under 18, we will take appropriate steps to delete it where required.
13. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include secure connections, access controls, account security, restricted administrative access and other safeguards appropriate to the services in use. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Your GDPR rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request deletion of personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain personal data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- object at any time to direct marketing;
- receive information about applicable safeguards for international transfers;
- lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
Requests can be made by emailing support@zopanta.com. We will normally verify the request through the email address or other information already associated with the person. We do not request an identity document by default. Additional information will be requested only where reasonably necessary to verify identity or protect personal data.
We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month, subject to any extension permitted by applicable data protection law.
